What Is All On 4 Implant Technique ?

The new All on 4 technique involves using only four implants in each jaw to replace all the missing teeth .This technique s different from conventional technique of implant placement where minimum 6 implants are placed in each jaw to replace all the missing teeth.

Normally dental implants are at 90 degree angle to the jaw but in this technique the two front implants are placed at 90 degree but the back implants are placed at 45 degree angle to the jaw. This angulation permits the implantologist to use longer implants by making use of the bone available in front part of the jaw. These implants are more stable and ensures that healing is faster .

This technique makes it possible to give teeth to the patient on the same day unlike conventional system where patient has to wait for minimum 4 months before getting the replacement.
